Mission: To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Vision:The Boy Scouts of America will prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law.

Let the Fun Begin!

We welcome scouts aged 10-18 years of age, of all walks and needs of life. We open our doors, arms, and hearts to make sure all Scouts enjoy their Scouting experience to the fullest.

Heart & Hands

Scouts put themselves in other people's shoes, empathizing with their situation. We respect all living things on Earth as we grow more conscious of their needs. We realize how crucial it is to recognize how interconnected all living things are.

We are a team, we are friends, we are a framily. We learn and grow and advance and have tons of fun. TOGETHER.

Facts About Scouting

The Scouting organization is composed of over 2.2 million youth members between the ages of 5 and 21 and approximately 800,000 volunteers in local councils throughout the United States and its territories.

Being an Eagle Scout is a big deal to colleges and hiring companies. Eagle Scouts are valued because they've learned specialized skills, display positive character traits, and are capable leaders. Your Eagle Scout status is an excellent way to add more differentiation to your application.

A new analysis of an old study corroborates what we’ve been saying for decades: The benefits of Scouting really do last a lifetime. “Children who took part in (organizations) such as the Scouts … were more likely to report higher levels of general health at age 50, compared to their peers,” says one news report.

Track Your Progress

Scouters can submit their ranks, merit badges and awards online. You will find this method to be easy, convenient, and accurate because you will enter the information yourself. After your information is entered, Unit leaders can approve all of your earned items and it will automatically update directly into the BSA’s official youth member record.
